Technet Catalyst Nomination Contest Rules and Disclaimer

Catalyst AwardTechnet's Catalyst Nomination Contest shall be decided by random drawing and purely by chance. All persons who provide Catalyst Award Nominations in accordance with these rules will be automatically entered into the contest. Entrants may make a maximum of three (3) nominations and therefore have up to three (3) chances to win. Nomination entries must be mailed or faxed to Technet's office (see contact information below). Nomination entries will be accepted from 12:01 AM (PT), July 26, 2004, until 11:59 PM (PT), September 3, 2004. Entries received outside of this time parameter will be void.

All entrants must be at least 18 years of age or older to enter. By entering, participant releases and holds harmless Technet, its directors, officers, volunteers and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest or any prize won. Participant further acknowledges that s/he has read and understood these rules and disclaimer and agrees to be bound by the same.

The Nomination contest prize shall be roundtrip airfare for two (2) to Hawaii. The prize drawing shall occur during the Catalyst Award social event, which is to be held on October 16, 2003. Entrants must be present to win this contest. If an entrant is not present, successive drawings will be held until a present winning entrant is established. The winner may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within ten (10) days following the date of notification. Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. The prize, unless otherwise specified, must be picked up within thirty (30) days of notification of winning. Technet will not notify winners of the time remaining to pick up their prize. Technet reserves the right to give away any unclaimed prize at the end of the thirty (30) day grace period.

The retail value of the prize is unknown because the value of the prize literally varies by season, weekday, and even time of day. The odds of winning are also unknown because no one knows how many persons shall choose to participate in this contest. Nonetheless, if 100 persons submitted 1 Catalyst Award nomination, the chance of winning would be 1 in 100.

The prize is not redeemable for cash and is void where prohibited by law. No substitution, transfer or assignment of prize permitted, except that Technet reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is not available.

All fees, taxes, custom duties, shipping, insurance and any other costs shall be the sole responsibility of the prizewinner.

Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Technet to use winner's name and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

Technet reserves the right to make changes in these rules or a specific contest. All such changes will be available, in writing, upon request. Other details and qualifications for participation in this contest may apply.
